His talent has seen him play for the San Diego Clippers, the Portland Trailblazers, the Utah Jazz and the Milwaukee Bucks, as well as for various international leagues in Europe. Gallon was also chosen as one of the top athletes on the All-Century Team.

Currently, Gallon serves as director of community relations for the Boys & Girls Clubs of Tampa Bay, an organization he’s been with, in one form or another, for most of his life. Gallon himself attended in the late 1960s.

Recognizing the importance of community stewardship, Gallon has worked with the United Way and has participated in the Great American Teach-In program for the past 11 years.
