The Plant City MLK Festival will make the Plant City area more inclusive of its residents and a more attractive destination for diverse populations by complimenting Plant City’s Historic Downtown.

Plant City MLK Festival Consumer
Festival attendee numbers has increased to approximately 25,000 during the past twenty one (21) years. As we continue to upgrade and add to our schedule of events the attendance figures continue to increase with community and tourism participation. We project a minimum of 15,000 in our 2007 event. Primarily, our demographics are 26-55 years of age, family orientated, with an average income level of $28,000-50,000 per year. 65% of attendees are from the Hillsborough and Polk Counties while the remaining 35% are from other parts of the United States.
