SUNDAY JANUARY 7, 2018 Visit any of several Historic Black Churches "each" with over 100 years of existence during regular service hours of 11am to 1pm. Churches include Bethel Church, Allen Chapel AME, Mount Olive Church and Antioch Church.

MONDAY JANUARY 8, 2018 - Visit the Bing House Museum and learn the story of the Bing Family, Laura Street Business District, Marshall High School, Marie B. Ellis, Snowden and Sam Cooper Parks, Plant City MLK Recreation Center, several churches and the Plant City Photo Archives & History Center with over 10,000 historic photographs..

TUESDAY JANUARY 9, 2018 - 430pm to 600pm

AFRICAN AMERICAN INDIAN DESCENDANTS "FACTS & MYTHS". Local curator will present a brief workshop on how Indians and Africans blended and interacted during the course of history. Artifacts and memorabilia will be on display.

BING HOUSE HISTORIC MARKER INSTALLATION CEREMONY. Bing House Historic Marker will be installed in front of the Bing Rooming House Museum. This will officially recognize the museum's place on the National Register of Historic Places, State of Florida Historic Commission and Trail. Event will be held in front of the Bing House Museum and free to the public.

Residents, and volunteers work on several community service projects ranging from planting trees along Laura Street to fix and/painting a few homes.
